The DLR Institute of Data Science invites you to the DataBuzz dialogue forum.

The event is an opportunity for companies to talk to the DLR Institute of Data Science about data science expertise, practical application examples and specific opportunities for cooperation. DLR is specifically targeting companies in the application areas of aerospace, energy, transportation and security.

You can look forward to exciting insights into current research and development topics, targeted networking during speed dating with the specialist departments – and as a highlight: the chance to take a virtual flight into space with the SPACEBUZZ ONE.

The DataBuzz Dialogue Forum will take place as part of the SPACEBUZZ ONE space rocket exhibition.

Experience virtual space travel: Virtual space travel with Alexander Gerst and Matthias Maurer

With the SPACEBUZZ ONE, an innovative educational project from the German Space Agency at DLR that is unique in Germany is coming to Jena.

SPACEBUZZ ONE is a walk-in high-tech truck that resembles a rocket on the outside and is equipped with state-of-the-art virtual reality technology on the inside. Visitors take a seat on movable seats, put on VR goggles and experience a 15-minute space flight: from Earth to orbit, on to the moon and finally back to our home planet.

The journey is accompanied virtually by ESA astronauts Alexander Gerst and Matthias Maurer, who provide an authentic insight into the perspective of real space travelers.
The aim of the project is to promote scientific education and at the same time raise awareness of global connections and environmental changes. These developments are made visually tangible during the space flight – an emotional approach to urgent questions about climate and sustainability.
