Evening lecture at the UKJ: “Breast cancer – What do I need to know?”

Evening lecture at Jena University Hospital on the topic of “Breast cancer – what do I need to know?”

One in eight women in Germany will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime. This makes breast cancer the most common cancer among women. Early detection is crucial for successful treatment. Dr. Stefanie Schütze, head of the Interdisciplinary Breast Center, explains the risk factors, the role of mammography in early detection, and how the team at the Interdisciplinary Breast Center at Jena University Hospital keeps the time until a definitive diagnosis and the start of individually tailored therapy as short as possible.

The event is part of a free lecture series organized by Jena University Hospital in cooperation with the Friends of the University Hospital Association. Our doctors and scientists regularly share the latest health information in an easy-to-understand way. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to talk to the speaker and other participants

Admission is free and no advance registration is required; there are plenty of seats available.
