From the perspective of architectural history, the Viennese architect and urban researcher, Ms. Christiane Feuerstein, describes in her lecture “Caring in Living” how living and caring throughout the house were closely linked in socio-spatial terms, later moved away from each other and are increasingly coming together again today. In this context, she explains current concepts of housing.
The lecture is part of the public lecture series “Science & Society”. With the public lecture series “Science & Society”, the Leibniz Institute on Aging (FLI) and the Leibniz Research Alliance Healthy Ageing together with the Beutenberg-Campus e.V. want to add a social perspective to the aging research in Jena.
