Knowledge for everyone – hands-on science: “Highlights of Physics” in Jena

From September 15 to 20, 2025, the nationwide festival “Highlights of Physics” will come to Jena. The program includes lectures, exhibitions, stage shows, and evening events, where scientists from all over Germany will provide exciting insights into their research.

The festival will kick off on September 15 in Weimar, at the Weimarhalle, with a special event featuring astrophysicist Harald Lesch and the music ensemble Quadro Nuevo. During the festival week, the physics exhibition at the Goethe Galerie invites visitors to experiment and discover, and at Ernst-Abbe-Platz there will be daily shows for all age groups, including a program for children and young people.

The STEM-festival will run parallel to this on the Ernst-Abbe-Platz campus.

Tickets and the program are available here.
