M+E InfoTruck stops at Jena-Optronik

From August 25 to 27, 2025, young people, interested parties, and especially school classes from Jena and the surrounding area will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of the metal and electrical industry.
The M+E InfoTruck of the Thuringian Metal and Electrical Industry Association (VMET) will be visiting Jena-Optronik during this period – together with JENOPTIK AG and Feintool.

The two-story M+E InfoTruck offers state-of-the-art technology to touch and feel on an area of around 80 square meters.

Young people can:

• work on CNC machines
• build electrical circuits
• create 3D models
• and much more

Accompanied by training experts, visitors will learn in a practical way about the exciting apprenticeships and career paths offered by the metal and electrical industry.

The initiative aims to get young people excited about technical professions and thus attract the skilled workers of tomorrow. Interactive stations and direct exchanges with trainers and trainees make career orientation a real experience here.
