No fear of controversy: second panel discussion in the “Facets of freedom” series
The University of Jena is continuing its lecture series “Facets of Freedom ” and invites you to another panel discussion. Renowned personalities from science, culture and the media will come together to discuss key issues of freedom and democracy.
On November 14, 2024, the audience can once again expect exciting discussions: Guests include journalist Dunja Hayali, psychologist and author Ahmad Mansour, ‘Tagesschau’-speaker Constantin Schreiber and the President of the German Rectors’ Conference, Walter Rosenthal. Under the moderation of Deniz Yücel, the topic “No fear of controversy. Why democracy doesn’t work without debate” will take center stage.
The event will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Lecture Hall 1 at the University of Jena, Carl-Zeiß-Str. 3. Participation is open to the public and free of charge, but registration is required: Please register here.
